“Prof. Sauti! so can i just tell you how much i miss your energy and your style! I'm in this class African Americans & Mass Media and its like no comparison [to yours]...” - S.W.

“I have to say, right now i miss your class and school. I definitely have taken a lot of the things I learned with me. But The real world really is a tough, rough place.” - T.C.

“I had you my senior year for Media and Society and it was one of the best Mass Comm classes i took and made me wish that I minored in Mass Comm” - A.S.

i just wanted to thank you for all your help during senior seminar specifically with the interview information and practice because it most definitely helped me get an editing job for the local cable provider in my state. it is a huge deal for me and i am really excited about my first job in the field that i've been training for, for over eight years now and i just wanted to extend my gratitude to you for helping and truly caring about furthering mine and my peers' education and understanding about the real job world.” - D.T.

I echo what [D.T.] said! The thing about you- you care, and your not afraid to show it! You have really helped me, you taught me to relax, take time for yourself, but still work hard! I too landed a job and I am excited. I know atleast part of what I learned in senior seminar will stick with me!” - S.D.

“Thank you for teaching a curriculum of significance” - A.T.

“I want to say thank you for all you did this semester, and for the past few years.  I am truly able to say that I have learned a lot about media from your classes, and do have a new and different view of media. I know I was not the most outspoken in the class, but I really took in the concepts and ideas that you shared with us, especially your extreme dislike for Disney which now I am starting to see why, even though I cannot give up my Disney movies lol” - A.P.

“I really want to thank you for senior seminar. I know I already told you how difficult that class was for me because I always felt like the odd one out, not knowing where I want to go with my degree.  Your class, your open views to other ideas really helped me pursue my dream of going into another field.  I believe that you are a great mentor, and someone that I am very comfortable sharing my thoughts.  I don't know if you realize how much your last words in class where you praised my decision to explore other fields meant to me. You made me feel as if I was doing the right thing. Unfortunately I do not have anymore classes with you for my final semester, but I would like to keep in touch and let you know about my plans and any advice that you can give me because I value it.  I want to thank you and I am very lucky to have had you as a teacher.” A.P.
