o      A.L.A.NA. stands for African American, Latino/Latina, Asian, and Native American. This program was developed "to unite its members for the greater good of all, to inspire cultural awareness, and destroy the void among students of different racial backgrounds." -  Dr. Donald Brown, Director of Minority Student Programs at Boston College (from Franklin Pierce University website)           
o      Medicine Wheel project - intiative to create and install a North American Native American-inspired medicine wheel on the university campus as a functional cultural, spiritual and natural focal point for the university community
